Deep processing of peat.

In connection with problems in medicine, ecology, agriculture there is a number of other problems. Therefore the JSC "Company BOSS" has decided to suspend manufacture of eurobriquettes and to start to conduct together with Research-and-production firm "BOWELS" the innovative scientific researches directed on working out of "know-how" and application of new products from peat. A number of rather actual materials and preparations is as a result created.

I. EMERCOM and ECOLOGICAL SERVICES

Universal granulated sorbent is in interest of EMERCOM and Ecological services.

Appendix 1.

UNIVERSAL GRANULATED SORBENT FROM PEAT

GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC of SORBENT

Sorbent is made of a natural material – from the certain kind of peat and consequently is a non-polluting and harmless product. The sorbent has strongly developed makro - micro- and mezo – interstices system and contains considerable quantity polar and reactive functional groups. Set of the specified factors causes high sorption activity and sorption sorbent capacity. Most intensively the sorbent absorbs weighed and colloidal particles, cations of heavy metals (Fe, Zn, Cu, Cr, Pb, Co, Sn, Ni, Hg, Cd), and also various organic connections (fats, mineral oil, surface-active substances, dyes, starch, fibers, etc.) .  The sorbent is issued in the form of cylindrical granules with 5-8 mm diameter and 15 mm length. Granules in water do not collapse during all term of work of a portion of a sorbent. In a layer of the granulated product are essentially lowered aero- and hydrodynamic resistance that provides possibility of inclusion of a sorbent practically in any technological chain operating both in periodic, and in a continuous mode, without creation for this purpose special expensive constructions. The sorbent is especially convenient at its use in local treatment facilities.

Hence, the created preparations can be applied with success even when traditional means are dangerous or in general are inapplicable. In some cases this property plays a main role. Two preparations "TOMED-APPLIKAT" in the form of paste and "TOMED-AKVA" in the form of a water solution are at the moment ready to practical application. The mentioned peat preparations on tests have shown exclusively high efficiency in various areas of medicine. In detail properties and efficiency of preparations are described in appendices.

Preparation "TOMED-APPLIKAT" is issued in the form of paste and is intended for applications on a sick site of a body at temperature 38-45 С. From above applications impose warming material. Time of one procedure of 30-50 minutes. Duration of course of treatment of 15-20 days depending on weight of disease.

IV. The CERAMIC INDUSTRY

The new multifunctional non-polluting preparation is developed for a ceramic industry «TOREOL» which use opens ample opportunities of improvement of quality and expansion of assortment of production.

The PREPARATION "TOREOL" FROM PEAT is the NEW NON-POLLUTING REOLOGICHESKY MODIFIER In MANUFACTURE of POTTERY

Rheological modifier «TOREOL» is a new non-polluting preparation on a basis humic the acids, surpassing in the properties known analogues. The modifier is intended for application in a ceramic industry at a stage of preparation of raw materials and at formation of products. «TOREOL» strong diluting an effect has on ceramic weights both at moist formation, and at slip casting that allows receiving products with smaller moisture content in ceramic weights.

The preparation represents the liquid of dark brown colour received at processing of peat. The liquid has no smell, not volatile, is not poisonous, a hydrogen indicator - 6,8 – 7,8. The maintenance of the dry rest to 3 %.

The additive rheological modifier «TOREOL» in micro quantities in a formed ceramic mix allows to improve:

• forming properties of weight;
• Physicomechanical properties of products.

Improvement of forming properties of weight allows:

• to facilitate fillings of casting moulds of pottery of a difficult configuration thanks to the best fluidity of weight;
• to raise durability of a product-raw that eliminates a traditional key technological problem - destruction of products-half-finished products at transportation;
• To provide possibility of decrease in specific pressure at pressing of products.

Improvement of physicomechanical characteristics of finished articles assumes:

• increase of mechanical durability in 1,5-2 times;
• density increase in 1,2-1,3 times;
• decrease in porosity and water absorption in 1,3 times;
• service life increase.

Rheological modifier «TOREOL» use allows to lower power inputs on manufacture of a unit of production.

Preparation action «TOREOL» consists in maintenance of the best sliding of particles of a dry powder of a ceramic material from each other owing to change rheological properties of the pressed weight. More dense packing of particles of powders that leads to increase of durability and decrease in porosity of finished articles as a result takes place.

At present in laboratories of the enterprises the innovative scientific researches directed on working out of "know-how" of parent payments of system blocks for a military-industrial complex are conducted.
